UP Police visit Sonakshi Sinha’s house, Mumbai for inquiry in fraud case, UP Police paid a visit to Sonakshi Sinha at her house in Mumbai in relation to a fraud case registered against her. She allegedly received Rs 24 lakh for a stage performance but not turning up for the event.

The ongoing investigation by UP Police is in connection with a case registered against the actor for allegedly not performing at an event despite accepting payment for the same. On Thursday, the UP Police, assisted by officials from the Juhu police station in Mumbai, reached Sonakshi’s home to take her statement regarding the cheating case filed against her.

Sonakshi was not present at her home when the police arrived and therefore the police left after waiting for a few hours. The cops are likely to visit the actress’s home again on Friday. In February, a case was registered against the actor and four others for allegedly accepting Rs 24 lakh for a stage performance but not turning up for the event.

The event was scheduled to take place in September 2018. “The police wanted to record Sinha’s statement but she was not in the house when the police team visited the house. The are likely to visit the house again on Friday.

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha has two films releasing next month. She will soon be seen running a sex clinic in Khandaani Shafakhana, which is scheduled to hit the screens on August 2. Come August 15 and Sona will step into the role of an ISRO scientist for Mission Mangal, which also features Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Taapsee Pannu. 2019 will conclude for Sonakshi on a high note as she returns as Rajjo opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg 3. Sonakshi also has war drama Bhuj: The Pride Of India in her kitty.
