Super 30, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has played the role of mathematician Anand Kumar, who is credited to have shaped the careers of over 400 poor children since the inception of Super 30 programme in 2002 by providing them free food, lodgings and classes to help them qualify in the different IITs of the country, had a special screening for the film fraternity on Wednesday.
Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ is based on the life of noted educationalist and mathematician Anand Kumar, who helped many underprivileged students crack the IIT entrance papers and kickstart their journey to fulfil their dreams, as the movie keeps on preaching this one particular thought- “Raja Ka Betta Raja Nahi Banega, Joh Hakdaaar Wahi Raja Banega.”

The narrative, though inspired by the real life of the famed Patna mathematician, has its flaws and has been given a typical Bollywood treatment, perhaps to make it more commercially viable and relatable to single screen audiences.
