Siddaramaiah afraid of people who wear KumKum Tika, Former Karnataka chief minister, and Congress leader Siddaramaiah courted yet another fresh controversy by making a shocking statement about people with a Kumkum tika on their forehead scare him.
Speaking at an event to inaugurate a lake rejuvenation project in Badami, the former CM said he is “afraid of anyone who wears a kumkum tika on their forehead”, questioning the capability of a person who puts vermillion.
In reference to his remarks, the BJP has hit back at the politician by beginning a campaign against him. Party's spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga has initiated a campaign on social media wherein he is requesting the users to wear tilak on their forehead and share the picture on Twitter.
Exposing the Congress party, the BJP Karnataka further demanded Home Ministry and Bangalore Commissioner of Police to take immediate legal action against the Congress leader for instigating assassination of PM Modi.
This isn’t the first time Congress leaders of Karnataka have made such an irresponsible remark in public. In fact, Siddaramaiah's 'tilak' remark comes a day after a senior Congress leader was caught on camera, calling for the assassination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a public gathering.
