The exam consisted of three sections: quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and English. The overall level of the exam in the first slot was between ‘easy to moderate’ by students, however, the quant was considered among the most difficult section. According to the feedback being shared by the candidates, the SBI PO Prelims 2019 exam was “Moderate to Difficult” but was reportedly easier than last year.
SBI PO Preliminary Exam analysis Slot 2 Paper pattern
- A total of 100 questions had to be answered in 60 minutes
- All the sections, except English Language, were available in both English and Hindi
- Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark, while every incorrect answer will reduce the score by 0.25
- There is sectional timing of 20 minutes
After the first day-first shift of the SBI PO prelim exam, candidates have said that the question paper was not difficult. The difficult level of the question paper was moderate. There were no questions from approximation, simplification, data sufficiency and comparison of quantities. The Reasoning section was Moderate in level. The section was relatively easier as compared to the previous year but was lengthy. Maximum questions were asked from puzzles. There were no questions asked from inequalities. The English section was also of Moderate level.
