Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja Movie Review, An average comedy entertainer, Public Opinion from Social Media. Two ambitious youngsters who make a living through a YouTube channel agree to perform a few tasks for a businessman when the latter offers them huge money. Debutant director Karthik Venugopal’s Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja is nothing but an extended version of the college skits and YouTube shows which are going viral on social networking sites.
Post the success of Kanaa, Sivakarthikeyan has come up with his next production venture, Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja, a film made by the team of Black Sheep, a popular Youtube channel. The film, featuring Rio Raj as the lead actor, is directed by Karthik Venugopalan, with music scored by Shabir. Most of the reviews included words like time pass entertainment and a similar kind of response is been cited from the movie audience too.
Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja also stars Shirin Kanchwala as the female lead, and many other youtube stars in supporting roles and is directed by Black Sheep fame Karthik Venugopalan. The movie has music by Shabir and is all set to release on June 14. In spite of missing out on the fun factor, Karthik has made strong amends by delivering the relevant messages making it a worthwhile debut for him.
The second half is better watchable as it tries to resurrect what was lost in the first half, in vain. The reason is simple: The first half wants us to not take the film seriously, but the film’s grammar changes suddenly, and the shift might be abrupt to a set of audience. The film speaks a lot about the youth of today changing and making society better. Shirin Kanchwala appears as a journalist, has less scope to perform.
