Kylie Minogue Health, Breast Cancer Battle, Singer’s condition that was initially ‘misdiagnosed’ the symptoms. The singer, 50, looked in high spirits as she arrived at the BBC Radio 2 Studios in London on Thursday for an interview on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show.
The 50-year-old singer who was scheduled to hit the stage at the music extravaganza in 2005, but was forced to pull out a month before when she discovered that she had breast cancer is nervous about finally getting to play at the five day festival on the iconic Pyramid Stage on June 30.
Released on 3 May, the new track called New York City is a homage to the Big Apple. Originally recorded for her most recent studio album Golden, she performed the track as a medley on the world tour of the same name. Kylie Minogue, 50, was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005, at the age of 36. The news led to the postponement of the remainder of her Showgirl The Greatest Hits Tour, as well as her withdrawal from Glastonbury Festival.
The track’s surprise release comes on the tail of her announcement of the Greatest Hits collection Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection. “New York City” is featured as a bonus track on that album. The dance floor filling number was produced by Dan Stein aka DJ Fresh, who wrote the song alongside Mylo and Karen Poole who was one half of 90’s pop duo Alisha’s Attic.
