Kurukshetra movie review, Fans are mighty impressed with the Darshan starrer, The Multi-Starrer 3D Mythological Film. For most people, Duryodhana has remained as one of the most intriguing characters in the Mahabharata. The period drama, which is apparently made on a budget of over Rs 100 crore, has been getting positive reviews from fans.
The movie is a Fantasy-Historical story. The latest film has ensemble cast that includes Arjun Sarja as Karna, late Ambareesh as Bheeshma, V Ravichandran as Lord Krishna, Sneha as Draupadi, etc. Munirathna-produced movie has the music of V Harikrishna, Jayanan Vincent’s cinematography and Jo Ni Harsha’s editing.
Fight scenes with the use of ancient weapons are imprinted on the minds of the viewers. While the film mainly deals with the rise and fall of Duryodhana, it also highlights Karna’s loyalty, friendship and giving nature, as he is another character who ends up getting the raw deal.
The audience from Tamil Nadu and Kerala has to wait some more days for the movie to release the theatres near them. Kurukshetra is dubbed in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. The Tamil version of Kurukshetra is being planned to be released a week later.
The story of Kurukshetra is based on Ranna’s epic poem Gadhayuddha. It will be narrated from the perspective of the Duryodhana played by Darshan. As this time of the month is very busy for every theatre in India, the Bollywood release of the movie could be delayed further for even a month.
