Kacey Musgraves Expands Fall Tour 2019, Country music star Kacey Musgraves is coming to the Carolinas, Mesmerizing ‘Slow Burn’ on Today. Kacey Musgraves appeared on NBC’s Todayfor a short concert featuring highlights from her Grammy-winning 2018 album Golden Hour. Performing at New York’s Rockefeller Plaza, Musgraves delivered note-perfect renditions of album cuts like “Slow Burn,” “Happy & Sad,” “Lonely Weekend,” and “Oh, What a World.”
The Grammy Award-winning country songwriter plays the arena Oct. 25, a Friday night. Indie favorite Maggie Rogers and Americana breakout Yola support the bill. Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, July 26.
The five new dates come in October and are some of Kacey’s biggest headlining performances yet. On October 10 and 11, Musgraves will perform at The Pavilion At Toyota Music Factory near Dallas. Then, Kacey heads to New York City for shows at the historic Radio City Music Hall on October 15 and 16. It’s then off to Music City for an arena show in Nashville on October 25.
Musgraves grabbed national attention in 2007 when she was on the singing competition “Nashville Star.” Her 2012 album “Same Trailer Different Park” won her the Grammy for Best Country Album and its lead single “Merry Go ‘Round” snagged the Best Country Song Grammy.
Pop newcomer Rogers revealed her excitement to join Musgraves in Music City. “It is an absolute honor to announce that I’ll be joining @spaceykacey at the @bridgestonearenaofficial in Nashville,” she wrote on Instagram.
Kacey Musgraves came onto the scene when she appeared on USA Networks “Nashville Star” competition in 2007. Since then, she has gone on to win endless awards, including the 2019 Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
The “Oh, What A World” tour stopped earlier this year at the Ryman Auditorium; Musgraves last appeared in the area for a show-stopping performance at Bonnaroo in June.
