Aeroflot plane crash, Russia plane fire, Aeroflot jet crash landing kills 41 in Moscow, Aviation experts furious that passengers took luggage. At least 41 people on board a Russian passenger jet were killed, including two children, after the aircraft crash-landed at a Moscow airport on Sunday, bursting into flames on impact.
Russia's Investigative Committee said at least two children were among those who died. The Emergencies Ministry stated that six people had been hospitalized. The Investigative Committee later said "37 have survived" out of the 78 on board.
This was the horror sight seen at an airport in Russia's Moscow on Sunday. Forty-one people were killed after an Aeroflot passenger aircraft crash landed at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport and burst into flames. The cause of the fire and the crash remains unknown.
"Investigators soon will begin interviewing victims, eyewitnesses, airport staff and the airline carrier, as well as other persons responsible for the operation of the aircraft," Investigative Committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko said.
